I’m sure this is breaking news, but Casablanca is incredible. I gotta make a rewatch happen more often.

Beautiful film.

Well, gas is expensive, and food is expensive, and we’re doing a war nobody wants, but at least there are no jobs

It’s like my grandma once said: if people didn’t like what you made the first time, just keep burning fistfuls of cash in order to try and try again.

Or something like that? Idk. Listening is hard. She kept burning fist loads of cash on flying out to visit me to keep repeating something or other.

For reference, someone that can do all of that should command close to $100,000 a year. Not $12,000.

I’m not a name and shamer, but omg. I just saw a job post asking for:

- 4 years of Premiere, AE, and Photoshop experience
- management skills for channels with over 100k subscribers
- on screen ready talent (camera/mic)
- research skills
- full time availability in NA hours

For $1000 A MONTH

It's almost impressive how many websites fail to remember I don't want to be logged out. Spring Training has been going for almost a week now and yet MLB TV keeps forgetting that I've signed in (on multiple browsers/computers) lol

the next great American novel, to which he is immediately proven wrong.

I dunno. It just always finds a way into my mind these days. Wonder why πŸ€”

Every week, at least once and without fail, I am subjected to something that leaves me sitting at my desk and thinking about the infamous "Best of times, blurst of times," bit from The Simpsons.

In it, Mr. Burns believes that having 1,000 monkeys hard at work on a book will outputβ€”

I literally just want devs to remember how vibrant games looked back in the 32/64bit era lol. Back when the limited color palettes meant chunky art styles due to not being able to use a million shades of blue to render a photo realistic sky

The bourgeois likes of the numerous people in post war Europe that made instruments (often banjos) out of whatever they could find, some of whom would go on to influence The Beatles

Aware that it’s only Monday, but what a fucking week I’m having. Saturday cannot get here fast enough; one so I can sign off my work phone, two so that I can do what I do best (edit), and three so that I can enjoy some New York Mets baseball.

This! Isn’t there also a correlation between covid and heart problems? I remember hearing of people my current age (so late 20s/early 30s) having coronaries at a higher rate

What victory tastes like: Finally figuring out what program was preventing me from ejecting my personal SSD from my Macbook for the past two years, forcing me to do a full boot cycle to swap it to a work drive whenever I needed to.

Did you know that YouTube Playlists have a bug with shuffling? Because I do lol. I have a playlist of hundreds of songs that I like to flip through while I work and it turns out that the shuffle just resets itself after like 10 or so videos, forcing you to manually pick something else to unstick it.

Update re: avoiding the horrors (and the cold!)

The CRT is now playing nothing but classic music videos while I work and my chihuahua naps on my lap whilst buried in blankets. We’re currently listening to Eat the Music, my favorite cut off Kate Bush’s album The Red Shoes πŸ₯°

All is well.

Me in December: lol. I’m gonna put a black box over Trump’s face in my video about fear mongering as a wink/nudge to his name being redacted in the Epstein Files.

Multiple comments attacking me over being β€œtoo scared” to show his face later: I will never discount people’s ability to miss the joke.
