Thank you all for your contributions & support over the last year. Getting to make these zines with y’all has been a great experience
I’m really proud of what we accomplished & of how much I’ve seen people grow as creatives throughout the existence of this project

We accept any medium! #Transformers, another fandom, or original work. This zine is a celebration of creating without being self-critical, so pick a project and join us for our last #zine.
Submission deadline is February 28th.
We're going to do one more zine as a group, and anyone is welcome to join whether you're an official member or not. The theme is our namesake: "Fuck It, Good Enough" and the guidelines reflect that. As long as your piece doesn't break FIGE's prohibited content rules, you're good to go. It doesn't even have to be Transformers related, just let your imagination run wild and embrace the attitude of "fuck it, good enough". To ensure the widest range of creative freedom, there will be a SFW and an NSFW version of the zine like we did with our Baby Needs Smoko zine. Some ideas to get you started: • Use it as an excuse to finish something you've been procrastinating. • Experiment with a medium or topic you've been nervous to try. • Create something that reflects your experience with FIGE or what it means to you. The focus on pornography and blaming it for every social problem has led to actual predators flying under the radar until it's too late.

Buried in Michigan's antiporn bill is a provision to effectively outlaw "circumvention tools," such as VPNs.
Mark my words: legislators will increasingly leverage porn panic to restrict or ban VPNs, and to limit internet privacy far beyond adult sites.

So while I can *totally* understand why that wording is enough for someone to not want to join the site, when it comes down to the staff’s actual actions, it’s been there for years and they’ve not shown a propensity to be strict and overly judgemental in their enforcement of it.
FAR more concerned with using their limited moderation resources on tackling real cases of CSEM, harassment, and other things that break their TOS before wasting their time arguing over semantics & opinions on stylization of a character
There hasn’t been any incident where an adult character in a sexual situation who “appears to be” underage has caused someone to be punished or banned. I’ve asked around & no one else has been able to find something either. It seems they give people the benefit of the doubt and are very obviously-
“Appears to be underage” for fictional characters is still in the language, however after several years since the TOS change & looking at how they actually enforce it, they have not abused that language. It seems it’s more there out of caution to allow for their own discretion, but as far as I know-

That is my one massive gripe with Pillowfort. I can’t even argue with you there 😂 I’ve been begging them to update the image uploader for forever and it still hasn’t come around.
I’ve only seen two posts related to what’s on my blacklist in the past year and it’s only because people didn’t tag properly, so it wasn’t the site’s fault.
