Why donโt you just give yourself a week of that language and then see if itโs sustainable? My brain usually sees with time it wasnโt a good idea haha

Ahahahaha, I would! But I have the same problem as always, not sure what I would write about
Thinking about converting this account into a pure "diary" account. I could use any language that I'm learning and practice it here ๐ค
Back to reading after two months of a mental break ๐คฉ
Starting with a #Galician novel ๐
Oh I donโt know them, thank you!
Has anyone used these Learnoutlive German short stories? Any thoughts on them?
Ahh, nice, will save the name of this series. And thank you!
Thatโs lots of good feelings!
And itโs totally fine as long as itโs clear for you, itโs your mood after all ๐
There are these ones: www.bingol.edu.tr/en/news/zaza... (I think they are entirely in Zazaki, or in Turkish but they are for children, like school textbooks) and there's also Parlons Zazaki if I'm not mistaken :D
Not a lot but still something!
Oh come on! You're on of us!!
Maybe we should do a language exchange ๐
Exactly! And if you think about it, many achievements come from a hobby becoming a lifestyle, and that's kinda our case too.
Haha this has to do with the fact how people perceive language learning through their education, I think. Usually itโs a pain in the ass for people to learn a new language at school and if you tell them you do it, for fun, by yourself, they freak out. At least thatโs my theory ๐
Oh, tell me more ๐
Yeah I feel like it's easier to use for similar languages but I kinda want to have a set of word (or rather phrases) that I can learn them first and have a minimum of communication skills :D
That's understandable. Were you able to practice it there though?
What's your level in Spanish btw?
Ahh then yeah, Dutch is safe then haha
Ja, jeg liker norsk!
Oh so you're quite advanced already! (and this series looks great, I'm gonna take a note of it!)
Well, I've just started this week haha
I'm super hyped honestly but I still treat it as an experiment to see what I want to do with it long-term :D
Is your mood for Czech the post-PG depression??
The Frequency Word Lists has always been disappointing me so Iโve tried several times already to create me own one.
Do you have any experience with that? Do you have one for yourself? Anything you want to share about it?
Looks like Spanish is thriving! Are Dutch and Japanese on pause?
I'm so glad to hear that! ๐
Ohh, we do have two languages in common! How is Norwegian going?
Well, I guess I didnโt invent them but I also havenโt seen anybody doing them ๐ feel free to join and make your own!
Right! I saw a few videos but will have to have a another look then ๐
Iโd like to increase the visibility of us, neurodivergent language learners and show that our language learning is really not a reflection -> decision -> action kind of thing.
Itโs mostly about the mood. Hereโs an example:
(Spoiler: itโs gonna change soon)
