Had my first respectable finish in paper last weekend at Spotlight Orlando, going 10-5* (scooped r15) with ViVi. Deck hard carried, my only prep was 20 hours of bo1 Arena Direct, GuI_Dukat's guide, and asking my opponents how to sideboard. Also made some big trades and picked up some more sheets :)

Super happy as I was coming off a stretch of bad directs, and I went 8/14 Sunday after losing a bunch at 5-x Fri/Sat which felt really good.

Necro Storm is IMO the best deck in Timeless right now, it recently won the 120 person 1k, and is rightfully gaining a ton of popularity. I've been crushing ladder with two slightly different lists, both the Grief Sacrifice and Springleaf packages are really strong.

First try! At 4-0 my phx opponent played played talent on 2, looted away cruise and axe on 3, then declined every loot till I cast a Sheoldred, at which point they dealt themselves 12 in single turn and died in their main phase. Then at 5-0 my opponent scooped to t1 duress. @fireshoes.bsky.social

List felt dece, based on MeatMTG's but I cut Ballista for Innkeeper (very worth) after I kept wishing I could GSZ for it in a ReCQ on Fri (4-1). Kept wishing I had a mite and disliked GSZ (overrated imo), would cut one for Mite, and I'd play 2 Culling Rit/Meathook in the sb.
