I know I was shocked, especially because he was someone who never read anything. It’s nice to be able to reach someone in that way. I think other than enjoyment of creativity in general this is the feeling I want to chase when writing.

The Time Machine (1960) George Pal
I first saw this on a sick day with 103 fever, it really left an impression and I’ve always been fond of it. This movie hit in a similar way to how Excalibur (1981) did (also first saw with fever) I think maybe my preferred way to watch films is with fevers? I really love the way this movie looks.
Rewatched •Dead Ringers• and it was uncomfortable in a great way. Body horror is one of my favorite types of horror and this delivered. Also how have they not made replicas of the tools for mutated women? Am I the only person who would display those on my office shelf? #horrorsky #filmsky
