it s both the efficiency & value option to keep it so let s keep it. in the match i was wondering about 3s vs 5s & played 5s for safety. but i think it s kind of fine to go full force here, we re fast. i d play 3s & pon/chii for dora tanki too

in the book senba mentions that mahjong players don t consider their playstyle a ‘playstyle’ but just the most natural/obvious moves. i consistently have a way higher riichi rate compared to gold & jade. i don t understand why that happens at all

kuma kuma kuma bear on syosetsu sucks so much that even with no japanese at-all you can sort of feel that the author learns about the existence of words along with you. but when they pull out the two-story クマハウス it s hard not to be a little very endeared i think.. do your クマ魔法 trick kumasan

all maj variants favoring tsumo heavily except riichi is one thing.. & then getting punished for it in sanma not just in hand value but also in honba payment... the japanese really hate tsumo
i m rereading it a bit now & the impression is a little different than that though. as usual i can t really understand the anime interpretation either
