Wow. Gundam SEED reeeaaaally grinds to a crawl halfway through the series.
Nobody said it "has to be miserable". But it is a show that is seen through a far rosier lens of nostalgia than it deserves.
I hope this is just another bad rumor. The world didn't really need a second season of this, let alone a relaunch decades later. There were really only a few genuinely great episodes and the quasi confederate-apologist themes have become increasingly difficult to display as a positive.
