Adam Wharton bemoans European referees.
“The referees give fouls for pretty much nothing. You can't be physical and get into them. It's football. It's a contact sport. These referees are just different. It's very inconsistent.” #CPFC

Once again, I have already written a piece about that this season.
However, Glasner & the supporters only have themselves to blame for making this fracas the story.

Glasner is the story at the moment. I've said my piece on Parish. I quite like Oliver FWIW, but it's our responsibility to report his missteps - especially when that's what supporters are talking about.

I have separated the fan and journalist, yes.
As for Parish, I have been extremely vocal in criticising him this season and have come under fire for doing so - to the extent that he publicly called me out and had to do an interview with another journalist days later to control the damage.

What makes it client journalism? Upon first reference, I called Parish the chairman; then I just pointed out that he is also a fan of the club and that he usually follows the mood when sacking a manager.

Always happy to take feedback on board, but not when it's inaccurate - so this will have no bearing on my reporting.

This is an admirable, but deluded, attempt to gaslight.
Will happily write positively if Glasner is upbeat on Wednesday and they win well on Thursday.

The majority of supporters voiced their discontent at the end in Mostar. Did you stay until the final whistle?
It's not a pile on, Glasner says stupid things and it's our job to report it. Perhaps if Glasner and the fans had a look in the mirror we wouldn't have to ask these questions.

He doesn't understand what he did wrong - he said that in the press conference. No empathy. My reporting reflects there was a slight concession, but not a complete apology, and that is clear from the quotes.

This is factually incorrect. I have spoken to several people in the away end, who have corroborated what I reported. Further, I was one of the few who clapped at the end - while most others jeered. I watched and listened carefully, as I was aware that I may be asked to report on it. Stop your lies.

It's very - ‘I'm sorry you feel that way’.
He was reflective, but still stuck to his guns.

Palace have been dragged into a relegation battle after a run of just one win in 11 Premier League games, and suffered one of the biggest ever FA Cup shocks as they lost to Macclesfield.

‘The few who are so critical in this situation are not humble anymore and have forgotten where they have come from — usually in life you get punished for this,’ Glasner said. #CPFC
