But with Robert Lopez now raking in the Disney bucks and EGOTing (and the fact that he and Jeff Marx as far as I know don't even speak anymore), I don't see revisions actually happening...
Between Gary Coleman, "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist", the fact that it comes from a time when puppets having sex on stage, Internet porn, and Ernie and Bert being gay were still groundbreaking gag material, and that its version of NY doesn't exist anymore, I think it'd have to be a fully new show.
Very few things I find more depressing than the concept of a West End revival of Avenue Q, now of all times. It's really ok for some things to just be of their era and leave them there.
It doesn't stand up to any scrutiny and will definitely (fairly) piss off purists but the vibes are vibing. 😍
I'm really enjoying Young Sherlock on Amazon Prime so far. It's basically Smallville. Sherlock and Moriarty as besties with HOMOSEXUAL SUBTEXT. Also like Smallville, stylish and endearingly dumb. It's perfect.
How does this book keep getting more gorgeous?? 😭😭
😍😍😍
What if we made new, original sci fi instead. Like, just a thought, from someone with a rave reviewed, award winning, original sci fi show you haven't seen yet because instead of backing original properties (the approach that GAVE US Firefly) studios will only greenlight stuff like Firefly reboots
Adam Baldwin. Was an extreme conservative back then but only got worse since.
For me, it's more of "why"? It's not actually a particularly groundbreaking story or world. Its biggest draw is the very literal mashup of Western and scifi which worldbuilding-wise was always very shaky. There are so many other properties that are more deserving.
Ehh, it was fine, but I can think of so many other short-lived shows that were much more deserving of better.
I seriously hope it ends up just being another comic book or something.
The cast is teasing an announcement in a handful of days that seems to be indicating some sort of revival in some form, but they haven't confirmed if it's a TV show, film, live action, animated, or what yet.
Really thought we as a society and culture had moved on from F*r*fly. It was a uneven show with potential it never achieved that ran for 11 weeks TWENTY-FOUR years ago that was created and showrun by an misogynist asshole and featured a MAGA lunatic, what are we even doing here.
It's this.
Just going on the record to say I absolutely do want this. And more like it!
My Wicked: For Good steelbook finally just shipped from HMV, and, well...
One was a lawyer, and I have absolutely no idea about the other one because I haven't spoken to my father or anyone on his side of the family since I was 13. 🥰
Two hours ago, the boat was baking in the sun. Now we've had to start a fire for warmth.
False Spring is really diabolical atm. Sunny and approaching actually warm in the daylight. The second the sun goes away, WINTER.
A Midsummer Night's Dream and Hamlet (even wrote my Master's dissertation on the latter 🤓)
It’s World Book Day 2026! So what better way to celebrate than to help a new (queer AF) fantasy novel come into the world?
Think Drag Race meets a gay Game of Thrones meets Zelazny’s Amber
This one is for all the people with toxic family…and a NEED for freedom

There's been a lot of debate within the Democratic establishment about what rhetoric to use via ICE.
Well, an incumbent doesn't lose by 48 percentage points very often—and her vote on collaborating with ICE was the defining issue here.
