For reference, this is a 15 FPS improvement over the original, on top of plethora of new features. Doom 2 runs around 80 FPS on the same machine.
Done with implementing a load zone system and with that, the final major optimization pass. This is the most intense area in the game running on Intel HD 520, around 40 FPS on 1080p medium settings.

I dropped it years ago. Nowadays I only use it if I need to edit something in a WAD file or change sprite offsets. UDB for mapping and VS Code/Notepad++ for scripting is the way to go. -Dyn
