Ah in the recent deposition, I get it. It's hardly my main issue with Hillary in any case, her record stands on its own.

No I refuse to go back to the 1980s in every sphere of society!
Always here for this quote, or any other combination of words that she wrote for that matter.
Sorry but it's just hilarious to me that someone would actually know that Maxwell was a plus-one at the Clinton wedding so that they could trot out that fact years later to try to absolve them of any guilt by association. But please do go back to your cope now.
It used to be "better to ask for forgiveness than permission", now they don't bother with either (if they ever really did).
"Every sentence must do one of two thingsβreveal character or advance the action." - Kurt Vonnegut
I saw my father struggle with this when Israel was decimating Lebanon in 1982. The disillusionment, the feeling of betrayal, the belated realization that a state founded on the ruins of Palestinian villages could never be the safe haven for which Jews had yearned.
As my kids would say when I correct them: "it's less *volume* of posts".
We stood together against anti-Palestinian racism and they cancelled our festival. So we organised our own.
Very tired now, but very proud of Constellations!
Great in depth coverage from Hannah Story here

Screenshot from a CBS interview with Hillary Clinton, with her sitting in a chair and laughing heartily when learning of the death of Muammar Gaddafi: "Yes we came, we saw, he died!".
A bar graph of the Human Development Index for Libya, published by the United Nations, from 1990 to 2023. According to the UN, "The HDI is a summary measure for assessing long-term progress in three basic dimensions of human development: a long and healthy life, access to knowledge and a decent standard of living." The graph shows a steady increase until 2011, when it plunges back to mid-1990s levels, where it has stayed, with ups and downs, through 2023.
I have nothing to add to all the examples given here of just how wrong Harris and Clinton were.
But what's most important to me is not how right or wrong they were. It's how much blood they each have on their hands.
I imagine that in some circles destroying an enemy's healthcare system is considered a force multiplier, since it converts otherwise treatable injuries into fatalities. Of course only the world's most moral armies would make that part of their strategy.
If you don't view this man and his company as a direct threat then you haven't been listening.
"Palantir CEO Alex Karp stood before a room of tech executives and investors this week and used a disability slurβtwice...
A man who uses a disability slur without hesitation is a man who does not see Disabled people as fully human stakeholders in the systems he is building."
Just like 1982 again.
It's the "and their spouses" that really seals the deal.
Lol well I guess neither of you really were. Cognitive dissonance much?
What's disingenuous is your excuse for failing to cover this atrocity to the degree it deserves, and properly attribute blame for it. You're a disgrace.
ICE has arrested and detained a Nashville journalist who reported stories critical of ICE. Sheβs married to a U.S. citizen and has been seeking asylum here after fleeing death threats in Colombia because of her journalism there.
Theyβve already sent her to Louisiana.
Yeah, I really don't think you need to look farther than "the purpose of a system is what it does". It doesn't mean other stuff isn't a factor, but the president doesn't just gin up invasions and kidnappings out of thin air.
CNN does have satellite verification of some damage, not clear how extensive but it looks pretty bad (or good depending).
Taking nothing at all away from Jimi's version, and giving nothing at all to Clapton's shittiness, but I've always thought the Derek & The Dominos cover of Little Wing is fantastic.
I am so tired of people attributing everything to the Epstein files, and to Trump specifically.
I mean just employ Occam's razor ffs. Look at the last 130+ years of US imperialism and ask whether any of this is novel in any way, or is it just business as usual?
A lot of people preaching kindness and empathy and fighting fascism be blocking Palestinians: I hope you know how incongruent and hurtful youβre being and meditate on that and change your ways.
Anyways, please help Mohamed and Heba, desperate parents of Jamal who desperately needs INSULIN!
Reddit post from P-Hustle titled "What American wars would you have volunteered to fight in?" The Indian Wars, the Phillipines, Haiti and Nicaragua in the 1920's, Vietnam, Nicaragua and El Salvador again in the 80's. As for would have, I "did" for Iraq and would love to get to the Ghan. Small wars are pretty enjoyable. It's the big ones, with days of artillery fire and inhuman brutality that take the fun out of fighting. But small wars (and Iraq and Afghanistan are indeed small wars) provide the rush of small combat actions along with the intellectual challenge of building personal relationships and infrastructure within the local community. Small wars are thinking wars, which I much prefer over the bloody slugfests of great power conventional warfare. Oh, and the revolution, because I'm Amuuurican.
And I'm so tired of people acting like the tattoo is ambiguous when there are plenty of corroborating facts. You know what isn't ambiguous? Someone writing in clear text they would have loved to participate in the genocide of Native Americans and imperialist counterinsurgency:
Hell yeah brother
I guess "distraction" is this year's "Russian op". Resist libs are so fucking tiresome.
God you're useless.
That'll teach them, should have sprung for an A380.
This is hilarious, from the idea that Trump has any say in internal Iranian politics to his portrayal of the quite heavy Khamenei as a lightweight. Next I expect he'll be weighing in on the relative IQ levels of the top clerics.
"Harrisβs failings on Gaza...illuminate why the Democratic party is so unpopular: with its obsession with βcentrismβ, it seems to stand for nothing other than the comfort of its elite donors. More than that, it seems to have little interest in listening to young people, let alone fighting for them."
