pump screws should be short enough to prevent excess pressure even bottomed out. maybe slight varience that allowed yer unit to put too much pressure, allowing CPU deformation. or contact frame not tight enough to motherboard mayhaps.

pup figured as much. rectangle CPUs (as opposed to square) are easier to cause all the pins to not touch, since all the mounting pressure is in the middle of the CPU (aka the stock ILM).

the Arctic contact frame should prevent that, since it holds the CPU evenly on all 4 corners *and* the AIO---

the 5070 is a ~250W GPU. if ya look through (or take off) the glass/acrylic side panel, what exact model of PSU does ya have? if ya can't see it from that side, take off the other side panel (this would be were lots of the wires are).

according to the user manual, there should be x2 of the ARGB headers (to control the ARGB lights). pup only sees x1 connected to the motherboard---
