how I feel about Jeff Bezos:
My kids know an American flag when they see one – but they don't yet know all that it represents.
When they're old enough, here is what I'm going to tell them:
Trump looks like an utter jackass. Marching soldiers like toys when a real war is going on. Attacking peaceful, productive Americans and dehumanizing them. Now an evil political assassination. He cannot and will not perform his job. Those who voted for him should forever hang their heads in shame.
I'm with Joyce, y'all - let's not devolve into watching the fight going down on the little kid playground. Shit's still happening

Last night I took my guitar to the Cathedral for the monthly Taizé prayer service. We sang "We Shall Overcome", along with the usual chants. It was poignant and true. We shall overcome someday.
