I'm not an AI abolitionist. I think it has its uses. But using it for constructing prose based on your own research (while also bad!) at least won't kill people.

There were a couple of attempts at TV series, one in the late 1950s and one in the early 1980s. They weren't terrible in their own right as TV series went but they were an embarrassment compared to the film and both were killed off after a handful of episodes.
