@petebuttigieg.bsky.social has it right. We absolutely do need to spread the progressive message to places and people who do not understand or even see it.
We do NOT need to accommodate hate. Moving toward the “middle” just makes us a bland, spineless alternative no one wants.
What do my #gamedev friends think about #uvw-cwa? On the one hand, this seems like what we've been waiting for. On the other, it seems like a lot of money to support a fledgling organization that may not yet have much impact for me or my colleagues personally.
