The sheer amount of community building that happens at events like CubeCon, Paupergeddon, and even Shoebox (March 2026) is simply remarkable - and is actually the thing that will outlive Magic more than anything else. Without it, we'd lose the most important characteristic and that is The Gathering.
Everyone should absolutely play whatever cube is chosen so that we can all keep getting the privilege of cube community cubes on MTGO.
Unfortunately Eric thought ahead about how broken it would be if we could play and crack our loam as a sphere to immediately dredge it again.

Keep it on the down low, but if you find me at Bar Cube night, I'll be running games and a Contraband Competition with Prohibition - a bar cube where Blue is BANNED and you'll need to smuggle your contraband if you want to play with the most powerful spells.

Kitsa only needs 3 power to copy anything so you need to cast a cantrip, time spiral, and have 2 spare mana to copy. Best part is that you can’t shortcut if your opponent can draw into interaction or if you need to draw specific cards 😂

Had a friend who moved away visiting this week and we got to play Vistas. I removed all 2 card combos from the cube but he decided to go through the list looking for other combos and managed to 3-0 with this monstrosity. He combo’d 3 different ways during matches. Can you find them all? #mtgcube
