America has a long history of pointless and wasteful military adventurism. And in our quest to normalize Trump we’ve stuck his Iran war in that box: “another war, just like the rest.” It’s not like the rest. It’s an act of insanity, rogue state behavior. Don’t know how this ends until we admit it.
Having faced no consequences for anything, Trump has noticed that he has the world’s largest military at his command, and believes he has found a brilliant solution for solving problems that no one before him was smart enough to discover: just kill everyone in your way, until they obey you.
Trump is going to murder as many people as he can before whatever is eating his skins does him in.

The thing with Trump is - since he's starting to realize he does not get to live forever he will just take us all down with him. He doesn't perceive the rest of us as having real human lives that matter in any way once we're no longer useful to him personally
