Whilst it can be used to explain troubles had this season (I largely think it does), it can’t be used to excuse not having an alternative plan, not being able to set up to punish and close games more effectively, and not analysing the contributing factors to bad luck
#AFC dropping 21 pts from leading positions indicates 2 things imo:
Lack of depth & clinical finishing - both exacerbated by injuries & ‘randomness’ which are to an extent out of Arteta’s control, but what isn’t is persistently allowing them to play such a big role
3-0 up against Real Madrid. I’m dreaming
General quality of football this weekend has been so poor. Almost as if players are consistently overworked, and absolutely knackered
