I love them! As a writer, I interconnected all my stories in the same universe. As a reader, it's great because you already know the system from the author's previous book.
I get ideas for gaslamp/gothic stories that could work well in their own world but also a shared gothic universe, but do people enjoy separate series in a shared universe?
