Oh shit
Oh shit
A legend among legends.
She was a legend among legends.
Fantastic
It surely is.
Thanks for another great #horrorwriterschat everyone. Today I'd like to promote Bruce Springsteen's new song Streets of Minneapolis. It chronicles some real life horror. www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWKS...
Legend.
#HorrorWritersChat I roll a six and try to stab the darkness with a rusty trombone. It parries the blow. βYou dareβ it hisses. I cry. The next two weeks are spent in a full body cast watching Alias reruns.
Hi. Iβm Ian. I write bloody awful horror films. The part of me thatβs the darkest is the part that writes scenes where people fornicate, defecate and elongate. #cringe

Me saying βnew year new meβ at midnight
We literally watched the sequel a few months ago in Wales and I was stunned at it being a clip show. The audacity.
Itβs the only way. The laziest and therefore best horror franchise.
What is it?
Eek
This week I'm promoting my thriller THE GIRL WHO WOULD LIVE FOREVER. It's set during Christmas and there are torture devices and wolves and high tech tomfoolery and immortality. And snow. And palm trees. www.amazon.com/Girl-Who-Wou...

My two front teeth. Evil.
Ya know, prose this good makes me realise I made the right call ditching my novel. Some people just get writing fiction.
Terrifying song
Dark alleys sparkling with frostβ¦
I don't have any specific examples, but I watched horror movies from a very young age, and honestly the music was probably what creeped me out more than anything else. I try to simulate that in my writing by coupling unsettling sounds with the character's physiological reactions.

Have you heard the final boss music from the very first Silent Hill game?
Not my favourite - that would be Silent Hill 4's fight with Walter in the big blood room music - but good God my nerves were rattled
Imagine being an active dentist drill left on inside a garbage can
#horrorwriterschat - βSomewhere over the rainbow.β Bloody lemon drops. Whimsy is horror.
My bad, I canβt keep track of these posts. Replied to the wrong one.
I use lots of music references. Music is cool. Also scratching. #horrorwriterschsmat
