Imagine having a birthday party so bad you lose most your online friend circles over it. Was six months ago btw.
dw though, I stopped using VR all together, got a job and moved out again. Lonely as fuck but probably in a better spot than ive ever been in.

if you want a cheap alternative and have a copy of super smash bros, and access to a wii with the gamecube slots you can pick up a memory card with an sd card slot and an sd card 32gbs +. there's a full guide here youtu.be/lUTk3ARrltA?...
not perfect but lets you keeps you from swapping discs.
if you are very careful yo can apply a very small amount of super glue it can seal the cracks. You may want to invest in upgrading your gamecube to a diskless option for a long term solution however. I haven't done so myself but I have been told disks are slowly just starting to go from age.

if you're on the #VRChat beta there's a weird bug right now with perf stats, it'll result in avatars being turned into fallbacks unexpectedly
either click "show avatar" on those folks if you can't bear going without the beta features (prints and mipmaps are too nice) or swap back to live
