I've seen that first piece when you shared it, but had no idea that those were both one person. How does that work?

I definitely want to check it out at one point! Where is it available?

Bittersweet happens a lot too, in this story.

I love them already and can't wait to see more of them and their dynamic! It's so sweet.

Not to say that I won't have some characters who don't get their happy endings, if it works for the story. But generally, I do want happy endings, but with lots of tragedy along the way.

I've actually been thinking a lot about the way my series originally ended, and for me, it's a bit too bleak, and I want to find a way to make it more hopeful. Book one has had such a theme of healing and hope, and I want that to carry through the book.

Let them suffer, but let them heal too.

I love to make my characters suffer. Some of them have been through SO much (too much). I think it makes them interesting, to see how they deal with it.

But I always want to give them a happy ending.

They'll suffer, but I want to see them heal. I want it to be hopeful...

Why are newer laptops so thin...?

The forest/nature! It takes place in a forest, and has a lot of nature vibes.

I think I'm right about in the middle. Have folders for my notes, but kind of messy at the moment. Though, I do plan to make things organized when replotting for draft two.

I think Tara's is maybe a mix of words of affirmation and quality time.

Sam's is physical touch. Not in a ... way, but like hugs, cuddles, small things like pinky promises and leaning her head on someone's shoulder. Perhaps I'll get into why some time.

Mitali's is quality time. It's really important to him that he gets to spend time with his loved ones.

I thought I got hacked or something yesterday, but it was just Bluesky being Bluesky. Is my profile picture and display name back for everyone?

Tara and Sam would be really competitive with each other. Emil would just be glad to be included.

Mitali would probably feel bittersweet, remembering board game nights he used to have with his family... because it's not a writingq without an answer that's at least a bit sad for Mitali.

I already established Sam cheating at games like rock paper scissors in the story, so I wouldn't be surprised if, when losing, she'd cheat. I can see them playing Jenga, Monoply, some sort of bluffing games (I think Sam and Tara would really enjoy these), Ludo...

Tara would definitely host. I can see her choosing a bunch of games that will make someone angry, because she loves seeing Sam rage over board games.

My password is really secure, randomly generated, so I don't know how anything could have happened. And I don't click on random links or anything... Perhaps it's a bug? But it seems weird.

What is going on with my account? Is BlueSky lagging or what? On my screen, my profile picture is gone, and my pitch post is randomly unpinned. Changed my password but I'm a bit freaked out...

I had another really cool question, but because I didn't write it down, I forgot it...

For Tara, she loves, and finds important, just having fun. Doing silly things. Antics, that kind of stuff. Gossip too, and just talking to people. She's a fun character.

At the beginning of the story, I'm not sure there is such a thing for him. His mind is elsewhere, and not really in the place to focus on what's important to him, other than people. Later on, though, he learns to really love farming and cooking, which was important to him before too (cooking).

For Sam, it's definitely nature and being in nature. She can be quite a hothead sometimes, but being in nature makes her feel so calm and at peace.

Mitali will be hard, because his whole character really does revolve around the people he loves, and how lost he feels without anyone...

First chapter actually has one of my MCS, in an abandoned building! Mitali is there because he doesn't have a real house yet, instead hiding out in abandoned buildings, at the very start of the story.

Wish I could finish this chapter today, but I feel too tired to write anything. Hopefully, tomorrow...
