There was a beautiful moment printing PEACE over waves (made from bamboo by Columbia Gorge Book Arts). Taking a ghost print revealed the waves left on each letter, fragile and echoing.

Since January I’ve been printing a monthly protest poster utilizing and documenting the wood type in my collection. The barrage of news is unrelenting, but for August I wanted to focus on the continuing and horrifying genocide in Gaza.

Thousands of women are sharing this and saying yes, this was their experience, many of them sharing their own horrific 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s experiences. (And almost everyone sharing it appears to be female.)
And one board member has stepped down but has not commented on IG about that decision.
