Mickey, It's a car windscreen sticker rather than an adhesive one.
Mickey, It's a car windscreen sticker rather than an adhesive one.
Here's what that Lovin' Spoonful box set looks like.
All you need to know really.
The Late Show ends tonight with one of their most beautiful songs. Even I can appreciate it.
Didn't Want To Have To Do It.
Good night...

ahh... it's cruush. Tastefully decorated record cover, too.
Their top hit, Great Dane , gets another walk on the MB Record Show.
It's good for the dog and good for you, too.

Happy Birthday Kiki Dee.
In the past, the flags were brought out to celebrate the day.
She's much cooler now.
This is a great Motown single, too.
Sitting well in the MBRS
buff.ly/CNAAEZ6
The song that broke the band? Lee didn't approve of it since it's a Song about Wilko's wife and a 'girlfriend' of his...
Buck Meek. A regular Dapper Dan. His collection of new music is around here somewhere.
The Mirror, it's called. And it has a song called Worms. Which is better than the title would suggest.
On the LSwMB/MBRS right here, right now.

Wilko.
Paradise now on the MB Record Show. To follow Heavenly, of course.
Also to remind Feelgood fans that Ralph McClean, my BBC Radio Ulster team mate, did a special show on Stupidity last week. Still on BBC Sounds.
Paradise here .... buff.ly/6tjUOkk
Stupidity here .... buff.ly/CNAAEZ6
The Heavenly marketing machine goes into overdrive!
I assume this is a sticker, which makes me regret getting rid of the school bag I had at St Peter's.
Excuse Me, which is a never ending source of delight, is now on the radio round here.

One keyboard above another? Very Rick Wakeman...
It's not changed all that much in 50 years (the building on the cover is now the HQ of Dogs Trust)
She opened for Miki Berenyi Trio here in the U.S. recently. Due to visa bullshit, she was without her band when they played here in Chicago. And it was still great -- she's so captivating (and the MB3 backed her on two songs). I dig her two solo LPs so much.
I knew there were many many people who were members of The Fall, but this is maybe my favourite of their keyboard players. Plinky Dink Rabbit.
No, this is a photo on the new deluxe edition of Fall Heads Roll. Four discs, smashing booklet and Youwanner.
As heard on the MBRS.

Ah, yes. Laura Nyro. Nothing taken too lightly. But always sounding brilliant.
Luckie , from the 1968 LP Eli & the 13th Confession, brings the swing to the MB Record Show.
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
3 cheers for making me aware of that box Mickey!
Fredericks Row, which is off Goswell Road, just around the corner from Angel tube station
It's the Ladder Lady. Gina is in the Limelight in Belfast tomorrow night, warming up the audience for the Au Pairs.
And , if you are badly behaved, you may hear one of her best tunes.
Causing Trouble Again. Now on the MBRS
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
Well... this from the booklet of a forthcoming box set of The Lovin' Spoonful.
On Cherry Red, of course.
Seven discs, and one of them has a demo version of Daydream.
So, the decision's been made for me.
Now on the LSwMB
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
where is it? The location, not the car.
I was always a fan of the version on Chiswick Chartbusters, courtesy of Rocky Sharpe And The Razors. The Titans did two versions. One with a band, one acapella.
The Razors followed the acapella. But the released version, with musical accompaniment, is now on the MB Record Show.
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
The excellent Sunday Mourners LP.
While you listen to the sounds, feel free to colour in the cover.
(Crayons not included)
He Cried now on the MBRS
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
I can't remember it......
Strangers in town.....
It's fifty years this summer since this LP landed.
It has the wonderful I'll Cry Alone on it. The song that would have sounded well on Hard Days Night.
Now playing on the MB Record Show.
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
It's Mr Lee Dorsey.
Sittin on his la la waiting for his ya ya...
Now on the MBRS
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
The bass player on some of this album is Murray Hammond from Old 97βs, who are a great alt country/Americana band. iβm not sure Iβve ever heard you play them, but if youβll take a request, please play βMelt Show.β
Another season song.....
The Go - Betweens. Spring Rain.
Robert Forster looks tall, but sometimes it's just because the others are far away or crouching.
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
Roger Miller.
In The Summer Time , aka You Don't Want My Love.
105 seconds of brilliance.
Now on the radio round here.
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
Once again, one more time.....daw, de dah, deet dah diddlay doo dooda dit de de dit !
Well, this is great. It has a song called Four Winters Away which is, I reckon, about Trump.
I'm probably wrong but it's on the MB Record Show/Late Show anyway.
And Sid pulls off the 'old prospector has his first night sleeping under a roof' look remarkably well.
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
It's the 190th anniversary of The Alamo.
I'm still not sure who were the goodies and who were the baddies, but Davy's people were from Derry and The Headcoatees are brilliant so ........
Davy Crockett , Whatcha Got In Your Pocket , now on the MBRS
buff.ly/6tjUOkk
and was the rest of the LP good?
It's a year since Brian James died.
I think it's true to say he got some recognition in the past number of years, but still not enough credit for coming up with two of the great punk rock songs leading to two of the greatest punk rock records. Fan Club, from DDD, now on the MBRS.
