I like villains who are evil simply out of purity or desire, but Ainz... he tries to exist in a gray area that doesn't convince me at all. He's just using his "lack of empathy" excuse because of his passive ability. Damn it, if you're going to play a villain and commit atrocities, do it properly!

I'm currently watching the anime Overlord; I just finished the third season, and... honestly, sometimes I don't understand Ainz or the excessive violence. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a problem with it in fiction as long as it's justified.
