Which platform are you running it on? Last time I tried it it was unstable on Ubuntu and I never could make it run on macOS, so I went back to PrusaSlicer. But I’m starting to tire of the crashes when trying to slice and ready to try something else again.

The slow recharge is the killer. Even with the max pack and its >400 mile range on a charge, put a trailer behind it and I’m getting 230 miles, crawl up a mountain with said trailer and I’m happy to get 120… and then have to disconnect to charge for 45 minutes. :(

Anything above 5000 lbs they want you to have a weight distributing hitch, I assume for sway control. I off-road in the sage of eastern Oregon on every trip with the trailer. And have taken the truck (without trailer) through a fair bit of deep back country forest service “roads”.

Mine is 11,000 lbs with 1150 on the tounge. Some of the newer and cheaper ones are 7,700 and the same 1150 on the tounge. Depending on config, total onboard capacity including the tounge is anywhere from 1700 to 2100. (1700 for me, of which about 450 is tounge weight from my trailer.)

Well, the $72k version of the R1T is just as capable a truck as the $120k version. It’s just not going to truck as long, or as fast. :) I tow a 3800 lbs trailer behind mine a few times a year… Aside from the slow recharge it’s one of the best tow vehicles I’ve ever driven, and it’s my 4th truck.

This was the test to make sure I had the temp right on the green (you can see I started too hot, dialed it down 20° after the first two layers and it was fine from there on.) I just kicked off a plate of 128 more. Will reprint that in 19 hours for another 128, but then I’m out of brown I think.
