jonathan your power is so fucking stupid (going off memory: image of the highmark building was the query. the circles are nearest neighbor matches - IIRC there are a couple of more matches here I removed from the viz because it was visually confusing in the image, hence the weird number of candidate points) The green areas in the second image are the candidate areas that the building could be located in based on the overlap between the matched camera FOV)
I was attempting to physically geolocate the primary building subject (defined here as "lol segmenting this shit is a later problem") using a fairly large structured google maps dataset I built using a ton of extremely finicky crawlers (alt has some minor info)
the 'oh this is weirder than foot mapping data' bit aside, i need to dig into this since my ancient thesis was *basically* returning this as part of its results query against (structured, yeah) data
