For anyone wondering, the concussion specialist Matt Duchene worked with in San Francisco was Dr. Sergio Azzolino.
Duchene said on @spittinchiclets that Sidney Crosby and others have worked with him, as well.

"We've got a really good character group."

That was so cute how Hryckowian and Bourque assisted each other in scoring into the open net for the Stars lead.
Team sport.
Nathan Bastian is a pure goal scorer.
Always worried about sleepy starts in early games, games against bad teams, and games after en emotional win/loss or emotional day.
5pm, Chicago, blown two-goal lead shootout loss to Colorado Friday, NHL trade deadline.
It's 2-0 Chicago early.
Gotta admit, it was pretty cool hearing "From Houston, Texas" for Tyler Myers inside the AAC during the Stars starting lineup.
Stars warmup lines vs Chicago:
Robertson - Johnston - Bourque
Steel - Duchene - Benn
Bunting - Hryckowian - Erne
Blackwell - BΓ€ck - Bastianβ¨
Lindell - Heiskanen
Harley - Lundkvist
Bichsel - Myers ("Big Tree" pairing, named by Owen Newkirk)
DeSmith
Oettinger
Casey DeSmith starts vs Chicago.
Bunting and Myers are in β we will see the βBig Treeβ pairing with Bichsel and Myers.
Expecting lines to be the same as practice yesterday, Hyry will be a scratch.
No real update on Hintz, just that it is still going to be weeks.
Dallas has recalled Arttu Hyry from Texas.
Scored a couple goals in last nightβs win.
Roope Hintz is going to βmiss some time.β
Not sure exactly the timeline, but not day to day. He is seeing another doctor today.
No Hintz, Heiskanen, Lindell, or Harley at practice today. I would guess maintenance for all but 24.
Here are forward lines:
Robertson - Johnston - Bourque
Steel - Duchene - Benn
Bunting - Hryckowian - Erne
Blackwell - BΓ€ck - Bastian
Colorado vs Dallas brings out a βspecialβ kind of hate among fans on social media.
I mean, itβs bad. Yβall really hate each other huh?
Both teams dive, cry, play dirty, are soft, suck, canβt win in the playoffs, etcβ¦ Itβs quite confusing.
"Lot of growth from the first game we played them until now. But that's just a preview of what's to come. There's more of this to come."

I think any NHL player likes to hear this from their head coach on the penalty called on Mavrik Bourque's hit:
"Yeah, I was upset about that hit. It's an intense game, and that's a good hit. We're going to hit guys like that all day long. They're hitting guys, we hit guys."
I like Glen Gulutzan's outlook:
"I liked us tonight. We had a chance for an empty netter, we'd be having a different discussion right now.... Lot of growth from the first game we played them until now. But that's just a preview of what's to come. There's more of this to come."
No update on Roope Hintz.
They wonβt know for a day or two. Stars practice at 1130am tomorrow in Frisco.
That's a brutal loss after a really fun and promising start.
Robertson said as time expired on that breakaway,
"See you in the shootout, Wedgie."
What a save by Scott Wedgewood on Miro Heiskanen...
And then WHAT A SAVE by Jake Oettinger on a 2-on-0 the other way.
OT can be fun.
Tale as old as time.
Dallas misses the empty net, Colorado ties it with 13 seconds to go.
Could still win, of course. But they lost the chance to steal two points in the Central Division race. Now have to try to win in OT or this will be a huge disappointment.
Eeeeeesh.
Making that call at this time feels like the wrong decision. Looked more like a toe pick to me. Happens fast.
Huge PK for Dallas up 4-3 with 5:20 to go.
Roope Hintz is down on the ice in pain after a collision of some sort with Nathan MacKinnon in the corner.
MacKinnon is getting a penalty -- maybe a major to review. Something happened, and Esa Lindell went right after MacKinnon.
Hintz helped off the ice and down the tunnel.
Dallas is making a statement right now. Been the better team, by far, and have only given up the two power-play goals.
They need to continue to do it because Colorado will have a push.
Excellent play in the neutral zone by Erne and Bourque to get that puck in deep, another incredible play by Hryckowian on the forecheck to throw a hit and use a one-handed poke check to steal the puck before finding Benn crashing the net.
Like, an incredible play by 49. Wow.
Scott Wedgewood now in the net for Colorado down 4-2.
He gets a nice welcome back to the AAC. Or maybe not.
Stars GM Jim Nill on Tyler Seguin and the season-ending LTIR decision.
That's pretty brutal.
Don't agree with the call on Bourque, and Colorado immediately scores its second PP goal of the game. Dallas had all the momentum and a lot going on.
Now a one-goal game because, duh, it's Dallas vs Colorado.
Hryckowian was not going to miss that wide-open net.
Went with the triple deke to bury it. Stars are really buzzing. All four lines.
What a shift from Dallas. Holy.
Bastian, Robertson, Blackwell cause chaos. Robertson comes off the bench and makes a slick behind the back pass to Hintz flying through the slot. Eventually, Johnston grabs a puck behind the net and circles to the slot before ripping top cheese.
Power plays are hot to start this game, despite being on opposite ends of the league rankings.
Feels like playoff hockey and atmosphere here tonight. Strap in.
