🇨🇦 Canadian #PublicHealth (including all medical officers of health in the provinces & territories) knew about #LongCOVID since July 2020. There is a report & extensive email list to prove this.
They deliberately kept it quiet. And they're still keeping it quiet in 2026.
#Shameful

Hey @ipaccanada.bsky.social, are you done Unmasking the Future yet? Or do you plan on dithering for a while longer before pretending you knew all along and giving yourselves more awards?
I realize it's embarrassing to admit you screwed up, but it's only going to get worse the more you delay.

I acknowledge you as the foretoken of my inevitable, self induced burn out.
It’s not okay to be a grown adult with internet access in August 2025 and still believe that what we are seeing in Gaza is not a genocide.

In New Brunswick, we have a word for when an opinion columnist goes out of their way to smooth the edges of a nearly universally loathed politician and whitewashes that politician’s irredeemable track record through misleading headlines and yellow journalism:
Huras-ment
Interesting that Mr. Huras did not speak with Dawson to remind him that Canada does not have freedom of speech or of worship. That hate speech is illegal in Canada and ask for clarification on why he is quoting American rights and not Canadian as a MP. Printing exerts from a letter seems lazy
Blaming the victims of genocide for “starting it” by breaking out of a concentration camp is not a centrist position
I think it’s fun that I got to spend a bunch of my life being like “hey please don’t give me this virus. It’s really not just a cold” and everyone else just got to laugh at me about it and get me sick and now I’m sick forever.
Hi all. It’s tremendously important that between now and Aug 19 (deadline) that you provide public comment to CSA on the newest revisions to Z94.4: selection, use, and care of respirators. For the first time ever it includes healthcare. Must make CSA account. publicreview.csa.ca/Home/Details...

The takeaway is not that electoral politics will fix everything.
We know it won’t.
Obviously.
The takeaway is that people will show up if you give them hope & a way forward.
And that, my friends, can & must look like a lot of things right now.
