Indeed - and perhaps helpful for anyone attending for the first time! π

Hope all went well - I remember my own tour in 1977... & have never regretted it!
The first time I met Rogers, I didn't know who he was. I asked him what he did for a living and he said he was a caretaker.
I have always loved that.
The repercussions will be multiple & long lasting...
Indeed... he is in a downward spiral. The synopses suggest anniversarial doom!
Never ceases to inspire me at the end of @norwichcathedral.bsky.social Christmas Procession.
Wonderful living Nativity complete with donkey. Well done Marwood School, Great Ayton @dioceseofyork.bsky.social www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/...
A chorister bishop and four chorister canons all fully robed with me standing, without the symbols of office to the right
In a service dating back to medieval times, was good to be part of the Chorister Bishop and Canons making service @yorkminster.bsky.social on Sunday (which alternates each year between girls & boys choirs electing a bishop). Best of all was being able to listen to Bishop Liam's cracking sermon.

Graphic of red ribbon with words world aids day 1 December
I spent a number of years as a HIV nurse. By then, the meds meant people could live full lives, but the stigma still existed. And access to preventative measures & meds varies
This #WorldAidsDay, as I lead prayers at @mancathedral.bsky.social, I'll be praying for justice, awareness & reduced stigma
Last night I had an adventure, heading off to preach at Deanery service in Kenley.I did get rather lost walking from the station (country lane, no lights, no signal) but had a lovely time on arrival
Also loved the on screen typo "Hail thee as our MATHLESS King".
Knew God was on my side there π
Cracking bit of Geordie hymnody this morning, as we sang 'Rejoice, the Lord is King' at both churches:
"the keys of death and hell
are to wor Jesus given".

Tiny girl at the Tower of London - 'what are you doing?'
Us - 'We're filming'
Tiny girl - 'are you making the new Mission Impossible?'
Us - 'why yes, yes we are'
I will never not laugh at this
The interval between interested schoolgirl and "older reader" seems to have passed speedily!
Good thinking spot in Wharfedale yesterday
As I contemplate a sermon about prayer, I'm reminded of Mother Mary Clare, Reverend Mother of the Sisters of the Love of God in Oxford
She advised that the nuns were struggling to find words to pray, they could simply say
'Here I am God, what a mess'
I've used that advice a lot over the years
Two people in bee suits on a roof with wooden hives behind
I've been on the roof today, filming with our 1 million+ bees @mancathedral.bsky.social!
This was excellent and so well worth the journey! Thank you for your friendly welcome.
Giraffes, the tallest animal on Earth, help ecosystems thrive by feeding on upper plants, letting sunlight reach lower vegetation across Africaβs savannahs.
