It's been nearly a month and my brain is still here. I will never get over it. I just want to do it all over again.

Next gig will be one of my son's choosing. He's having a really tough time with his mental health and I'm really hoping he finds live music as good for his soul as I do, not that I imagine Tyler the Creator will be soothing as such 🤣 #musicismagic
Andrew has one of the best voices around and this latest album really deserves all the ❤️ it's getting, plus it only costs a fiver! Criminally cheap.
On Sunday, a local gig at the Garrison Barnsley where Andrew Cushin popped up on his promotional tour for 2nd album 'Love is for Everyone' Unfathomable that he's not playing much bigger venues, but he has sold out the Brudenell Leeds and L.I.F.E has a midweek chart position of 10 so that may change!
Another weekend, another gig update. First, a trip to Hull and down memory Lane to 1996(!) with Kula Shaker and Ocean Colour Scene. I still maintain that Mosely Shoals is one of the best records to come out of that period. Great to hear these songs live again, 'Get Blown Away' was superb!
As we return to routine after the Easter break, please know your best is good enough. However you’re feeling, that’s the right way to be feeling in that moment. Don’t judge yourself. Be kind and know how much of a miracle you are. 😊

Finland just seems to get it right - education, housing. #TaxTheRich #ClassWar
Not the Easter week we were expecting with my eldest son’s mental health taking a significant nose dive. It’s been a blur of hospital, CAMHS crisis team very little sleep, lots of tears and anxiety. Approaching this next week with little left in the tank so appreciated this from a colleague today…
Pics from a recent ‘Extreme Day Trip’ to Bratislava. The historic centre is beautiful and had to walk up to the amazing castle for the views down the Danube. Schnitzel for tea and Saris tankards for €3. Also discovered ‘Kofola’, Slovakian cola with a slight medicated taste - right up my street!
Starting with something positive, I had the privilege of seeing Beck at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday, with the BBC concert orchestra. Words just can’t do it justice. Highlights for me were Lonesome Tears and Lost Cause. I may never need to go to another concert again. youtu.be/IqmciPHnBZI
Finally made the transition over, my mute list on the other platform was just getting too long 😂 Waves 👋
