Having an extremely bad time trying to focus on my job today while also juggling some heavy personal stuff and the general nonstop state of the world bullshit and I want to turn my brain entirely off

Extremely grateful for stuff like friends hosting me for a month and a half now because my home is undergoing a chaotic renovation disaster

I’ve made an ok life for myself, all things considered, and I’m glad I never ended up in a group home or foster care despite coming close a couple times, and I really have the fandom to thank for giving me the hand up to build something better for myself.

This actually hit me super hard, damn. My family got evicted on literally my 7th birthday and we spent a few months homeless and couch crashing and stuff, my mom and brother just got evicted from the apartment we landed at literally at the end of last year too.

That’s just the way it is…🎵🎶

(project for sociology. We drew an image of poverty as we know it. Mine had stuff, but no home, money, or familial stability. Stuff does not equate stability. I think a lot of us been here, and we try to redo being little to take control of what we couldn’t, you know?)
