I like the ones that are lightly compatible. Like Pirate Borg is it's own thing, but it's also REALLY easy to say it's just off the coast of the Dying Lands while changing very little. Dark fantasy adjacent stuff.

Playing against someone with an annoying deck in person is still fun. There's a social element. A faceless emotionless screen playing the exact same untouchable meta izzet deck over and over makes me want to die
I genuinely thought I just didn't like MTG for like 8 years because all I played was occasional Arena and now that I'm back in love with MTG I'm trying arena again and realizing Arena is just really frustrating and sucks ass
I think it's the difference between 9 hours of footage with tons of downtime vs 2 hours of a tighter edit. One version 'feels' faster even if it isn't.

You can order all of the FF secret lairs IN FOIL for $60 from printingproxies and that's literally if you wanna do it "expensive" you could get the whole set unfoiled from MakePlayingCards for like $20. Just proxy.
Collector boosters are for gamblers. Play boosters are for people who wanna play the game.
Also look into proxies. There's lots of sites that will make you any card you want in any art you want for cheap.
