Yesterday I watched videos of Israeli and US bombs hitting the neighborhoods where my family lives, unable to reach them.

The first I hear from them comes today and it’s that they’ve received threatening texts from Iranian intelligence telling them to stay away from “future illegal riots.”

The options that the US and Israel have engineered for Iranians are increased repression from the Iranian state or full state collapse. Anyone who thinks liberation is on the other side of these bombs, I don’t know what to tell you.

Sam Altman & @sama It was definitely rushed, and the optics don't look good. We really wanted to de-escalate things, and we thought the deal on offer was good. If we are right and this does lead to a de-escalation between the DoW and the industry, we will look like geniuses, and a company that took on a lot of pain to do things to help the industry. If not, we will continue to be characterized as as rushed and uncareful. I don't where it's going to land, but I have already seen promising signs.
