Hats off to you and the Cool Zone crew for wading through the mountains of shit time and time again.

The entire US Armed Forces is unsalvageable; this is straight up a warcrime.

They literally killed 150 Iranian sailors just so they could jack their peepees and post le epic footage. You don’t hate these people enough.

The Colonel awkwardly bringing a bucket of chicken to some mid garage rock band in a movie? That's as nature intended. This is an abomination before chicken & jellybeans. They've irrevocably made both worse.

The thing about all these freak AI execs constantly going "our machine may have gained sentience?!" is that they want slaves. That they are ok with slave labor.

And *then* it always, always turns out their latest AI trick actually used slave labor somewhere in the global south.

They're slavers.

Sometimes I feel hysterical when I say that the US is a threat to all life on the planet. But then some dickbag in the government says something like "The war with Iran is a war of God and Armageddon to bring Jesus back", I remember that I am in fact a very rational human being.

Yesterday I watched videos of Israeli and US bombs hitting the neighborhoods where my family lives, unable to reach them.

The first I hear from them comes today and it’s that they’ve received threatening texts from Iranian intelligence telling them to stay away from β€œfuture illegal riots.”

02.03.2026 13:16 πŸ‘ 186 πŸ” 44 πŸ’¬ 3 πŸ“Œ 1

The options that the US and Israel have engineered for Iranians are increased repression from the Iranian state or full state collapse. Anyone who thinks liberation is on the other side of these bombs, I don’t know what to tell you.

People do understand that doing morally repugnant things purely for your personal benefit makes them more condemnable not less, right?

Sam Altman & @sama
It was definitely rushed, and the optics don't look good.
We really wanted to de-escalate things, and we thought the deal on offer was good.
If we are right and this does lead to a de-escalation between the DoW and the industry, we will look like geniuses, and a company that took on a lot of pain to do things to help the industry.
If not, we will continue to be characterized as as rushed and uncareful.
I don't where it's going to land, but I have already seen promising signs.
I think a good relationship between the government and the companies developing this technology is critical over the next couple of years.

I think states will regret weakening the taboo on heads of states not being targets during war

We’re past destroying the post war power structure, we’re now in the territory of destroying the entire modern set of norms around relations between states.

Like we’re now essentially destroying centuries old norms related to sovereignty and I’m not sure people realize the implications of that
