I dont think there are any more local conventions going on for the rest of the year except for Furvana. I've personally never been there myself as well. I think it may be fun to check out since it's by the beach.

I heard that they were already locked into a contract with the hotel for them to host again this year and that it's supposed to be their last. So they may already be looking for or may have found another venue for them to host them for next year.
