Cascading pink plum blossoms show you their true chaos. One branch is considerate enough to be in focus, giving you the slightest idea of what is going on. The rest you have to guess.

Magenta and white plum blossoms crossing paths across the eaves of Kameido Tenjin, rejoicing that their backdrop is no longer under construction this season. Can you feel the rejoicing? I can.

Did nobody say more bokeh? Single cascading pink plum blossoms show against a backdrop that could be anyone’s guess, but maybe that is Kameido Tenjin (that is Kameido Tenjin, see caption). A very relatable disarray of form, color, and light, am I right?

Moon. Tonight’s nearly full one. Wedged between the Skytree and the Solamachi building, though because of the low exposure the Skytree is only a series of geometrically aligned dots and Solamachi is just a bunch of irregularly lit windows, which may or may not be reflecting the Skytree dots. I can’t tell.

Early cherry blossoms along the Sumida River doing their best to frame the Tokyo Skytree all the while getting rained on. I think the droplets of water you see throughout the frame are not so much falling from the sky as they are being blown from the blossoms by a gust of wind, but that does not fit so neatly in a caption.

So like the sky has no color and then this big cloud comes in on the middle of the sky tree like someone took an eraser to the middle leaving the top and the bottom floating about awkwardly without anything to connect them but good thing we have a Kawazu Sakura tree to make everything pink and ok.
