Kickstarter United is on strike! We are not asking for a boycott! Creators & Allies: Please continue to support & use the platform swipe for ways to show your solidarity
Why We're Striking A codified 4-day work week. We simply want to protect the way we've been working for over 3.5 years. The 4dww has proven benefits, such as increased productivity and improved employee satisfaction. It's part of what makes Kickstarter a special, innovative place to work. Fair pay for our lowest-paid workers. We're fighting for livable minimum salaries for roles that are undervalued by the market but crucial to keeping Kickstarter running. We believe none of our workers should struggle to make ends meet.

A brilliant Grist essay on the immense de-damming of the Klamath River in Oregon/California: a project that has resulted in the restoration of one of the largest salmon runs on the West Coast, and has also “set a profound new precedent for how the U.S. manages its water.”

When we started Guerrilla Collective in 2020 it was a joint effort between The MIX and our many friends.
Since then production has been solely handled by The MIX and we promise to keep it going!

Looking at the skeleton of Triceratops in a museum, a four-legged dinosaur with three horns and a frill/head shield. The spine is connected to the head by a small joint
Triceratops had a big, impressive skull, connected to the spine by a baseball-size knob of bone called the occipital condyle. It’s a flexible connection and allowed Triceratops to maneuver their heads to lock horns when they fought (which we know about from dino damage on their skulls). 🧪
