Time marches on, I suppose, but the idea of Smithfield becoming a giant WeWork, or a collection of food vans with names like The Crazy Taco Bros, makes me want to eat my own hands.

Totally, it's a one-of-a-kind place. The history is *immense*. The Museum of London is moving in which is good, but I hope in 5-10 years the rest of it isn't just luxury flats, prets, sephoras, cheesy experiential advertising spaces, etc.
