Like, it's only March. We've had a whole Direct for Tomadachi Life like a month ago. Still lots of time to get coverage for the games that were announced like 5 months ago.

I mean, it tracks with Nintendo's fairly extensive strategy of not really revealing games until they're properly ready and building hype throughout the year.

I mean...they could be Bethesda and announce a game 8 years in advance with no release date or plan whatsoever?

I've said it a million times, we really need to get away from this mindset. It creates a certain kind of entitlement that I've always thought was cringy because it erodes patience. Like, they have 2026 release windows, we know they're coming. Do we need to count down to the exact minute of release?

Lol I'm just saying "There's nothing on the horizon" and "I can't wait for new games" are two very different statements from two different emotional perspectives

You'll start to live a much happier life, I promise you. There are so many amazing games to play, so much so that when you start playing them, you'll stop even noticing that a company isn't giving you the games you think you want. You'll abandon the mindset that companies aren't releasing games.

You know, posts like these always make me a little sad. Like, you gotta expand your horizons a bit bro. Don't just focus on the "big blockbusters." Venture out into the niche. Appreciate the fun and exciting games that are right in front of you instead of lamenting the "lack" of releases.

Like, if Nintendo releases a Pokemon game every year, people scream because they're not good enough. If they give their devs time to develop good games, people scream "WHERE ARE ALL THE GAMES NINTENDO!?!?!?!?!"
