Though I do feel like a lot of my disappointment is also coming from going from Digimon Time Stranger to ZA. Its just a *major* downgrade.
I'm just not interested in any of the characters enough to care about them. Also the lack of voice acting will always annoy me these days.
I think GF/PKMNCO/NINTENDO have the potential to give us a good Pokemon game - SV was an example of good story. It just seems to me like they don't want to.
While over all I've been enjoying playing ZA, It feels very underwhelming to me. Lumiose seems so empty. I'm aware that wild zones appear as you advance through the game, I've just beat Canari, but it still feels empty. The story so far also doesn't seem to hold my interest.
Pokémon really needs to get rid of Evolution by Trade in the big year of 2026.
