Seeing others projects often motivate me into building something. I love the ones that just pop into my head and I run with it. I made this covered bridge in a day from one of those moments...lol
It's all scrap wood from when I replaced the boards on my dock. I liked the weathered look.
Thank you! That's helpful π
Yes. The most common name here for PVA glue is Elmer's Glue. I guess it's the most popular brand. They make a wood glue that's really quite good too.
That's a great idea!
Thank you! I buy quite a few online items and often have Styrofoam packing and hate to toss it away. In my mind I can envision a building project but things go wrong when I try to put it together.
I'm sure I could buy a house for the price of that baby!
Cuba. If he gets bored with that or Putin changes his diaper he'll circle back to Greenland.
HiππΌ. Do you glue the Styrofoam pieces and if you do, which type of glue works? I've tried gluing and painting Styrofoam and have done more damage than good...lol

I hope you can get it. It was a blessing for me!
Well if you look for a used one, don't go less than 16 HP if it has hydrostatic drive, that's pushing the limit if you get any amount of snow. That 24 HP could go full speed through 2 ft of snow, no problem! I would do all the neighbors and the sidewalks on my street..lol
I paid over $7000 around 2016 for that. I'm sure they're a lot more now. It might be cheaper to hire someone if it's only a few times a year. In Wisconsin it was every other day so it paid off.
Before I moved here, I had a 24 HP tractor with a 42" 2 stage blower. I had a cab so it was really nice sitting in there. I fell down quite a few times walking behind my old snowblower and with my bad back it was a necessity to do something else. Chains for the tires and wheel weights are needed.
When it goes over 100 degrees it's hot! π₯΅
Yeah but we need to escape here and run to Wisconsin for the summer because it's mostly over 100 degrees and 100% humidity here!
It's actually state law, you must have your home air conditioned! Never heard of that until we moved here.
I can't say that I need more trains but that doesn't mean I won't buy more trains,!π
I've moved the lawn 3 times and it needs it again .. lol
It has a whistle and a bell run from the remote and if you push the sound button it sounds like you're opening a soda can then you hear the person chugging it down then saying, "ahh, Coca-Cola"...lol
Ugh! My daughter in Wisconsin texted this morning that they could get up to 2 feet of snow. It was 60 degrees there yesterday! We're just getting rain but Friday morning it might freeze! That's crazy for here. Be safe up there!
Thanks! I usually run it at Christmas time. It's too nice to keep boxed up. This one was built when Lionel made true G Scale trains. I think I've had it around 25 years.

Brought out an old train set that my wife bought me. It's a cutie and it's my favorite soft drink!

I looked up if the solar panels were still on the White House. Reagan had them removed, Obama had new ones put up there. They're still there surprisingly considering how much he hates solar power and Obama.
No hairdresser around to create the bees nest over his "Chrome Dome".
That's quite a stretch!...lol
