Somewhat disturbed by the rapturous reception for Carol Bove's Guggenheim show. It's fine. Nice interior decoration. Fundamentally minor art. The best-looking stuff was loaned by the best collections, and many fine things are available from leading galleries. The Guggenheim should be more ambitious.
