They're used to refuel other aircraft in the air.

Bulldozed corpses and unmarked graves, CNN investigates the fate of Gaza’s missing aid seekers | CNN Ammar Wadi knew he was risking his life when he set out to get a bag of flour for his family from an aid truck near the Zikim crossing into Gaza in June.

Over the summer, dozens of people went missing at Gaza’s Zikim crossing, where Israeli forces routinely gunned down Palestinian aid seekers.

We’ve now found evidence suggesting they bulldozed some of the people they killed into shallow, unmarked graves.

My latest covering some of the strikes using US-made munitions used in Gaza.

Typically 500m distances are given in Lebanon. 100m is much lower than several different standards or measurements for a safe distance of a 2,000 pound bomb, including a USMC "danger close" standard.

Bellingcat recently asked the IDF about the lack of evacuation distances in public evacuation notices in Gaza, which are included in notices in Lebanon, so interesting to see a 100m distance in the notice here.

Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC) cleared two unexploded MK-82 500-pound bombs they say were dropped in December 2025. One of the bombs has a M905 tail fuze which is visibly damaged.

This is probably a Skat Shell fired at a high angle. A Skat Shell dispenses four different submunitions when fired that each emit smoke or chemical irritant.

First visual evidence of a Romach/Accular 122mm or Bar missile I've seen in Gaza. These are 122mm rockets that have been upgraded with guidance. This is likely the Bar, as it is an upgrade over the Romach and has improved accuracy.

Something to note on the Nasser Hospital attack — there's a direct line of sight to the Reuters livestream position to a large IDF excavation northeast of the hospital. The livestream had even filmed what appear to be two IDF tanks moving in the area on Aug 21: www.youtube.com/live/uN78d9M...
