It's an interesting topic. The economics of the recent Xbox acquisitions meant that they absolutely had to stay multi-platform to remain profitable. I suspect Sony will find themselves in the same spot.

I think it makes perfect sense to put Halo MP on PlayStation and every other device capable of playing it. Halo won't be able to compete with multiple other Xbox-owned FPS franchises without the bigger audiences.

People love to be outraged. I don't know how they can be bothered. Anyone paying attention to this stuff should be completely unsurprised.
