Nicotine: Big Tobacco’s Most Dangerous Lie - SE2

Notice what #MAHA and #RFKJr aren't talking about? #Tobacco. Big Tobacco is using this information vacuum to claim nicotine is misunderstood and has benefits. We've seen this story before and it ends badly. My take: se2changeforgood.com/2025/08/18/n... #publichealth

Colorado has amazing sites but skip the aquarium, a private for-profit trap. Go to Baltimore aquarium for a 10x better experience.

The shingles vaccines kicked my butt, especially the second one, but I'm glad I got the shots. Better than shingles for sure.

My dad was a morning TV anchor in S.F. and he was interviewing a visiting circus clown in studio. Right before interview started, clown informed him that clowns aren't allowed to talk. Blame the producer, amirite?

Writing a pair of recreational drug-related stories for @denverpost.com and wondering if anyone wants to talk on the record?

1. The comeback of nitrous oxide/whippets.

2. Being "Colorado sober" (yes-weed and shrooms, but no-alcohol). If you're up for it, email me at jwenzel@denverpost.com!

I think 250 dead children is a lot. I guess the adjectives don't really matter. Is 250 dead kids a lot or not?

There’s one vice RFK Jr. isn’t talking about The health secretary, who wants Americans to make healthier choices, rarely mentions smoking.

Breathtaking that #RFKJr doesn't know that smoking is the #1 cause of preventable death in the U.S. Stunning that he didn't mention tobacco in his #MAHA report. This is not someone who is serious about #publichealth. smh

I'm talking about South Asians in Hong Kong. China didn't want them, last I heard. There were a lot who no longer had Indian citizenship, etc.

I believe China only allows people who are ethnically Chinese to be citizens. Hong Kong citizens who weren't ethnically Chinese were at risk of becoming stateless after 1997, as I recall.

But when's the last time you met a "reader" of USA Today. If they exist, they're probably ancient. Also skeptical that they have any editors left. So who really informed this list?

LA couldn't even handle USC commencement this month, based on my experience as a parent. I've never seen Lyft's estimated ride time increase so wildly mid-drive. And we got out of Lyft blocks from destinations and walked because of gridlock.
