I'd love for them to find some in law enforcement, then maybe something would be done about Captain Corruption Ford.

Could someone please explain to me how Carney isn't just like Harper? Omnibus bills hiding all sorts of government overreach, laying off scientists, austerity and sacrifice for us, but ridiculously low corporate taxes, massive corporate welfare, and an end of the modest capital gains hike for them?

Very interesting to hear what's actually going on in parliament, and why it's problematic. Ms. May is another politician who seems to attract rabid, angry men to anything she posts. Pretty sure they'd like to bully all women out of politics.

Didn't he also say that we can't increase fossil fuel extraction if we're serious about not burning up in climate hellfire? Mm hmm.

Does anyone believe that Carney will do something? Ford calls him Santa, and private health care is a neo-lib's dream. Will no one think of the shareholders??!!

Pretty sure the invite is the problem.Carney also invited Kevin Roberts, Project2025 mastermind to caucus. He also didn't show, but that's when I really noticed the bizarre Cult of Carney, bend yourselves into pretzels to explain away really terrible decision making/scary bloody intentions in action.

This sounds like a handy opportunity to use Bill C15 to grant the corporation the right to break those pesky environmental laws...Carney shows real foresight in how to circumvent anything that might protect the environment.

We were misled by the effing book which I'm torn between thinking was either ghost written or satire.

Surely affirming their sovereignty is a no brainer. So, if trump invades Greenland Carney's going to look forward to their newfound freedom, too??

One of the first actions taken by Canada’s new government in March 2025 was to impose additional sanctions on Nicolás Maduro’s brutally oppressive and criminal regime — unequivocally condemning his grave breaches of international peace and security, gross and systematic human rights violations, and corruption. Canada has not recognised the illegitimate regime of Maduro since it stole the 2018 election. The Canadian government therefore welcomes the opportunity for freedom, democracy, peace, and prosperity for the Venezuelan people.

Canada has long supported a peaceful, negotiated, and Venezuelan-led transition process that respects the democratic will of the Venezuelan people. In keeping with our long-standing commitment to upholding the rule of law, sovereignty, and human rights, Canada calls on all parties to respect international law. We stand by the Venezuelan people’s sovereign right to decide and build their own future in a peaceful and democratic society.

Canada attaches great importance to resolution of crises through multilateral engagement and is in close contact with international partners about ongoing developments. We are first and foremost ready to assist Canadians through our consular officials and our embassy in Bogotá, Colombia, and will continue to support Venezuelan refugees.

The Canadian government celebrates the US committing the crime of aggression against Venezuela, in violation of international law and the UN Charter, even as it calls for respect for international law.

I’m not surprised: Carney took a similar approach when the US illegally attacked Iran last year.

I'm certain that
Carney the neo lib investment banker is going to get right on that. No doubt private health care companies making bags of $ for shareholders is deeply offensive to him...🤔

We will either end fossil fuel dependency and the predatory extractivist basis of global production, or they will end us through wars and ecological collapse - all at the same time.

He's not alone. @ABDanielleSmith and @MarkJCarney also think global oil demand will rise for decades.

Nope.

Ugggh, lockstep with Hegseth. The guy in charge of murdering Venezuelan fishermen. Still can't get the picture out of my head of Carney sitting next to the Cheeto as he joked about their mass murder.

Labour also got absorbed, but we do have a shiny, new Ministry of AI, which is supposed to balance regulation with economic development, and if the 'balance' that's been achieved with fossil fuel regs is an indicator, I'm not hopeful for meaningful restrictions.
