If you're doomscrolling, guess what? So far there are 51 kākāpō chicks hatched and thriving this season, the same number of birds as we had in TOTAL in the 90s! Only one chick has died and there are still fertile eggs waiting to hatch!

This concert is so White it must gleam from space
I snickered; thanks for this.
(Also, whee! Skiing!)
Also on the plus side, my sister had gotten tickets for Pulp, and planned to drag her husband. He wasn’t that into it…and gladly gave me the ticket. 🪩2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣
A small but detailed moon against the black night sky, red color due to the lunar eclipse running across its surface.
One may have to leave the US for healthcare, but at least that allows catching the blood moon!
Sister‘s phone cam, mind, with the 10x optical zoom.
whether war, vaccines, or critical infrastructure there is contingent of the right that seems to believe that their security from the worst things that happen is some kind of metaphysical principle rather than the result of specific historical processes that could've gone otherwise and still could
He has always been the worst, and I despise his corrupt and hypocritical ass — a classic conservative German CDU politician forever working in making the world a worse place for hard-working folks, women, people of color, fellow queers, and the disabled.
Eek. All the best!
I adored Abzû; thanks for the tip! I do have Journey on my wishlist too.
This theory is sadly (doctor’s) practice.
In a bakery and café, a glossy magazine called Gluten-Free Living displays a smiling Black man in glasses proudly holding plates of gorgeous pastries.
I love this man with all my heart. And with what’s left of my soul too.

Good choice.
Spring is finally about to start and it makes me want to get more personal art done, but I'm lacking a bit of time for now, so have some season-themed knights while I manage to work on new illustrations! :>
As usual, I hope you'll enjoy!

Okay, I giggled.
People are always like what’s something you miss from the past and one of mine is antitrust laws
See my last post. Jealous.
God I’m so tired I got up at 5am for a video call with my boss and the team and have a crucial call with India at 3:30pm did I mention I’m tired?
A phone snap of an blue umbrella in the top left, a slice of rainy city sidewalk on the left, and a green tiled wall on the right where a promotion sticker says “damp” twice in capital letters.
No lie detected.
ingridverse Feb 21 "God never gives you more than you can handle" is survivorship bias. People who got more than they could handle are dead. Picture of a screaming black cat (cartoon)

Yeah, needs a little help in those cases — gums; more eggs and separating them; Etc.
This sounds so good! Also clearly gf-able.
A lamppost at the crossing of Arlington and Indian Rock. But not just any lamppost. Go to the next image!
A photo of a round metal plaque on the ground: “Notable Lamppost Arlington Ave. On this spot, meet Harold. Harold is a lamppost and has been standing here since 1943. Some would say Harold is a bit dim, others have called him a little too bright. Harold can't seem to please everyone at the same time, which is fine to Harold as he is only a lamppost.”
Alright, fine. To not make this account too depressing, have a whimsical story from Berkeley in two phone snaps:
Will post about baby animals or the latest tabletop again, but rn I’m on my way to the airport in order to get actual healthcare in a regulated country w/ consumer protections.
Why? B/c 1. a plane roundtrip, 2. a local MD consultation + 3. several packs of meds are cheaper than one pack in the US.
Jealous!
But, I suppose there are drinks at the airport.

That said, I'm not surprised.
Exactly.
I wasn't hurt either of these times, only my bike (I wasn't crippled back then). Plus, it was a clear dry day; I was not going fast; and I had made eye contact. But although my disregard for traffic rules did not impact these men, they promptly took OFFENSE! & decided to punish me, a girl on a bike.
!!!!!!!1111111!
2. In my 2nd uni town -- also Germany -- I came up to a cross-road on my bike. I idled there for a moment until the cross-road traffic light turned red, as to not impede car traffic: plenty cars already standing. Even so, when I cycled across, a BMW driver makes eye contact and then hits my bike.
