Update: this ended up being an awesome communal theatre experience, it was the most packed I’ve seen a theatre in years! Every time there was a funny moment from the trailer on the big screen the entire theatre erupted into applause. Def worthy of the suit and tie

This is the 4th night in a row where I’ve dreamt about doing circuit design in my head
I was taught a lot of formal circuit analysis but not a lot of design nor PCB design. So I’m learning a lot! A lot of components aren’t *too* bad, mainly taking care to place decoupling capacitors and pull-up/pull-down resistors when needed. Datasheets and manuals help a ton
I’m starting out small. I found a tutorial that shows how to create your own ESP32 PCB. I’m also making a Bluetooth speaker with prebuilt boards. I’m very glad ESP32 has peripherals like SPI built in bc I implemented SPI in Verilog on an FPGA and it was… a pain >.>
I need a spot for my engineering rambles because I suddenly started like 5 personal projects and I’ve decided HERE will be a great place for that :3
Idk what happened. I sat down and taught myself transistors and BAM I leveled up 5 levels as an engineer and now I’m making an MP3 player from scratch

I really do think iPods are one of the best ways to listen to music. No ads, no distractions, whatever MP3 file you want, fits in your pocket easily, and it’s a really cute physical device that you can take anywhere and everywhere :3
