Hmmmmm. I like all of the ones we have (8 I think) but I think the highest concentration of favourites are in Transference, Girls Can Tell and Lucifer on The Sofa. You canβt really go wrong with Spoon.

One of my favourite bands.
This is such a memorable piece. So beautifully done.
i really can not emphasize enough that the most materially impactful thing you can do for trans people right now is hire them.
Oh wow - thanks for taking the time to fill me in on their back story! I will appreciate seeing your posts even more now. π
Your food posts pop up in my feed all the time and make me smile. I do wonder who your stuffies are, they are super cute.
I havenβt had those in ages!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Reduction Linocut Landscape of a winter scene. Called "Blue Monday" it is an exploration of the different blue shadows cast on the snow.
First print of the year! I am really pleased with how the shadows and light turned out on this one. www.michellewiebe.com/store/p42/Bl...

Iβm in Alberta and we were 8*C today. No way I was going in the studio! Although my big paper cutter is in the garage and I probably should have used it while it wasnβt an icebox in there.
Go out, fill up and print later. You will be cooped up again soon enough.
A 5 Layer Linocut print of a robin in tones of yellow, orange and brown with a scallop patterned background. The title of this art is "Harbinger"
This robin is heralding a fresh start and new beginning. There is a scaled pattern in the background, harmonizing the five reduction layers in this print.

I think I bought mine for $12 CAD, dollar stores might even have them.
If you don't already have one, a cheap digital scale from the grocery store will make Pantone mixing proportions a breeze.
Oh, thatβs awesome. How thick are the boards?
The more you know π«

If you mail a lot it is cheaper to buy bulk from a supplier, but not great to shell out a couple hundred for stuff that will take a long time to use up. I usually build this stuff into my costs.
Kind of depends on size. I buy rigid mailers from staples* www.staples.ca/products/926... (bigger and Iβd do a mailing tube) *note this is a Canadian page.
If you mail lots, check out a packaging wholesaler
Honestly, while it doesnβt feel productive, having issues while you are with your mentor is more valuable than gold. (still super frustrating though and I hope you figure it all out)
You can still look it up (not sure how accurate it is though): www.albertahealthservices.ca/waittimes/Pa...
How nice of a print can you get from a Kelsey 6 x 10? This is what I got on my first try of making a 5 layer reduction linocut. Little janky on registration at times but it came together. Beautiful doesn't mean perfect. #birds #letterpress #linocut #printmaking
This is a good one to try if you haven't nailed down a recipe yet: www.allrecipes.com/recipe/10756...
Noteworthy use of wall space. What a cheerful place to work. π
Spent today messing about with an experiment in my inside studio. Too cold to print in the garage today.

See? You two are honourary Canadians - you would fit in here in the frozen north! Just maybe steer clear of Alberta, you know, Canada's Texas theme park. π«
or you could do dried varieties - raisins, apricots, craisins
for produce - do frozen veg and fruit this time. Peas, corn, mixed veg and some bags of blueberries or strawberries.
