"Harboov Master"
A photograph of the back of a Cheerio's box. It has six daily affirmations on the back: 1. My best is good enough 2. I grow and learn every day 3. Creo en mΓ 4. I make the day brighter 5. My perspective is unique and important The sixth affirmation has been edited using a paper printout and some tape, and is partially covered by the thumb of the hand holding the box. Behind the thumb, the phrase "masturbation is okay" is barely visible. There's more text on the box, but it isn't important to the joke so I put it last. Here it is: A Little Cheer Goes A Long Way At Cheerios, we believe tiny gesture can brighten someone's day. Affirmations are a small way to care for yourself or someone you love. We're cheering for you -- to be your happy and healthy self -- with some tasty Os and encouraging words. You've got this! Pick one of these daily affirmations -- or write your own -- and practice it today. Affirmations are meant to be spoken aloud and repeated, so stick it on the mirror, keep it in your wallet, or bring it on your morning commute and say it out loud every day.
Not to give credit to a brand, but these little Cheerios affirmations are a fun way for General Mills to distinguish themselves from Kellogg's!
On the one hand, I know what people mean when they say "there were no flying dinosaurs."
On the other hand, there are 500 species of flying dinosaur just within 250 km of my house.

Saddened to report that having now watched Carrie (1976), it may be a good movie, but it's not a good Carrie (1974) adaptation. RIP...
A daytime photograph taken from about 200 meters up, and overlooking downtown Seattle. I'm the distance are a lot of fluffy clouds, with one large one in particular sporting a flat top.
A flat-topped cloud! I don't feel like I see too many of these here, and it doesn't look tall enough to be a cumulonimbus incus. Very interesting! #WAwx #clouds
Just... wow.
A cropped photograph of a page from Stephen King's Carrie. It reads: And then the light was gone, and the last conscious thought had been (momma i'm sorry where) and it broke up and Sue was tuned in only on the blank, idiot frequency of the physical nerve endings that would take hours to die.
Sure I'll just be normal about this forever.

I've seen all of #ZetaGundam and I just finished episode 33 of #ZZGundam, and I still have no clue whether the #AEUG is actually part of the Earth Federation or not π¬
I do also back it up using both Restic and Git, but both of those copies were several hours old and I had some pretty important TTRPG notes from the session I'd just ended.
I had a weird #syncthing bug completely wipe out my #ObsidianMD vault last night, but thankfully I had staggered file versioning set up on all of my clients, and I was able to recover the entire thing with a couple of shell commands.
Enable staggered file versioning, people!
A low angle photograph of a bed. In the foreground, a blue plate has a slice of pizza and a small container of tomato sauce. In the background, a pudgy-looking cat is staring intensely at the pizza.

A photograph of a gray husky pointed away from the camera, but with his head twisted around so he can look at me while I take the photo. The ground is covered in wet leaves, and a green leash goes from the bottom of the picture to the dog's collar.
Morning walk with Ghost :)
I don't disagree that she's showing off in an incredibly cringe way
Yeah, you can major in modern Greek or ecclesiastical Latin, so the distinction can be useful sometimes

This has gotten me curious now about whether there's any scholarship on the living experience of members of the racial underclasses in the Hellenistic kingdoms after getting conquered by the Romans. It sounds like being governed by the Greeks wasn't exactly great for them, so did it improve after?
Thanks! If you end up playing it, let me know how it goes :)

Oh! I should write it up on my blog. The general idea is that there's a rotating circle of cards in the middle that you capture with cards in your hand using trick-taking rules
